Eurovision 1977 was one of the contests with the most errors in the announcement of the points. Both France and Greece awarded same points to multiple countries. These errors were all adjusted after the broadcast and didn't affect the placing of any of the songs:

• From the Greek scores, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Austria and Finland all had 1 point deducted
• From the French scores, Austria, Germany, Israel, Italy and Belgium all had 1 point deducted.
