The making of two front-runners
Russia and Netherlands release their "making of" videos
Today we see the release of two "Making of" videos for Russia and The Netherlands as they are gearing up for their second rehearsals which are both scheduled for Saturday 10th May.
Both countries have been the front-runners of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest edition which is being held in Tel Aviv and now they would like to share their experience of recording their music videos.
Russia
The artist representing this country is no stranger to Eurovision. Sergey Lazarev represented the same country in the 2016 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "You Are The Only One". Once again, Sergey was the hot favorite to win the contest but placed 3rd in the Grand Final. He is back with a vengeance and a totally different genre. The song goes by the name "Scream" and was released a few days after Netherlands on 9th March. Now we can also watch how Russia's music video was shot.
Netherlands
Duncan Laurence is representing Netherlands with the song "Arcade" and has been a front-runner in this years' competition ever since the release of his music video on 7th March. Duncan was chosen internally by the Dutch Broadcaster AVROTROS. He gained fame after participating on the fifth season of The Voice of Holland, where he was mentored by Ilse DeLange. His mentor forms part of the duo The Common Linnets who represented the same country in the 2014 edition with the song "Calm After The Storm". His music video is based under water and today we can watch how the video was shot.
