San Marino: Gabry Ponte to Eurovision 2025 with "Tutta l'Italia"

San Marino held their national selection tonight to determine their Eurovision 2025 representative. After all the votes were counted, it was known that Gabry Ponte will wave the flag with "Tutta l'Italia"

What started out as over 1200 applicants looking for the opportunity to take the San Marino Song Contest stage tonight, became 20 acts hopeful of taking the crown home.

After numerous rounds of auditions, and semi-finals, 11 acts qualified to tonight's final, alongside the 9 who were announced in the "Big Artists" reveal just a few weeks prior.

After all 20 acts took to the stage, a vote was held, and the faith of who would be deemed the winner would be chosen 100% via jury. Once the jury votes were tallied up, we knew that Gabry Ponte took the victory with "Tutta l'Italia".

Tonight's show was held at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana and was hosted by Flora Canto and Francesco Facchinetti.

Gabry Ponte will take the Eurovision stage for San Marino on 13 May in the second half of Semi-final 1 and is looking to bring the country back to the Grand Final for the first time since 2021.

Gabry Ponte

Gabry Ponte (52) is an Italian musician, DJ & producer with an impressive career since 1993.

Ponte was part of legendary band Eiffel 65, known for the hit song "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" from 1998, which sold over 8 million copies. Following the success of the song, their album "Europop" went on to sell 4 million copies, and helped them land them the EMA for "Best Italian Artist In The World" in 2000.

In 2005, Ponte announced his separation from the group to focus on solo work, which led him to even more success. His solo career has brought him numerous charting songs and albums in Italy. He also has collaborated with many big names in music such as Pitbull, Aloee Black, Sean Paul, and Sigala just to name a few.

Gabry is no stranger to Eurovision, though. He was a co-writer and producer for Austria's 2022 entry "Halo" by LUM!X and Pia Maria, which did fail to advance to the Grand Final.

While Tutta l'Italia has not officially taken part in any other national selection, it was the theme song for Festival di Sanremo 2025, which helped it gain its popularity prior to San Marino Song Contest.
