Netta releases "Nana Banana"
Netta newest song will be performed during the Eurovision 2019 Grand Final
After "Toy" and "Bassa Sababa", Netta Barzilai, Eurovision 2018 winner, releases her third song named "NaNa Banana".
Netta will perform it live on Eurovision 2019 Grand Final, as a interval act. The videoclip for “Nana Banana” is a lyric video, a far less expensive video compared to her previous videoclips.
The new song was written by Nathan Goshen (Well-known Israeli singer), Stav Beger (one of the writers of “Toy”) together with Netta herself.
Israel in Eurovision Song Contest
Israel has participated 41 times in Eurovision since debut in 1973. They have won the contest four times:
- 1978: Izhar Cohen and the Alphabeta - Abanibi
- 1979: Milk and Honey - Hallelujah
- 1998: Dana International - Diva
- 2018: Netta Barzilai - Toy
Israel has never ended last in the contest! Since the introduction of semi-finals in 2004, Israel qualified for the Grand Final 9 out of 15 times.
