Netta

Netta Barzilai (נטע ברזילי‎) is 25 years old from Hod HaSharon, Israel. She has been living in Nigeria for four years together with her family. In 2017 she auditioned for the talent show HaKokhav HaBa L'Eurovizion (The Next Star for Eurovision / הכוכב הבא לאירוויזיון), which she won.

Netta has a unique talent for mastering the looper – an electronic vocal instrument. The looper is featured in her songs including her Eurovision song Toy. The rules of Eurovision Song Contest prohibit the use of utilities in which voices are recorded in advance, but EBU has agreed that Netta will be able to use the looper at the time of the performance in Lisbon.
