Eurovision 2023: Semi-finals' running orders determined
The running orders for the two Eurovision 2023 Semi-finals have been determined. As in the nine previous years, the producer of the Eurovision Song Contest has decided the running orders
The British broadcaster of this year's Eurovision, BBC, has determined and revealed the running orders for the two Semi-finals at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Over the last 10 years the producers of the shows have decided the running orders based on an allocation draw.
The allocation draw took place in January. Here the participants were distributed into the two Semi-finals, and it was determined whether each country would participate in the first or second part of the Semi-final.
The running order for the Grand Final will be decided by the producing broadcaster after Semi-Final 2 on Thursday, 11 May 2023. The decision will be based on a draw which determines whether each qualifying country will participate in the first or second part of the Grand Final.
It's already been decided that Germany, France and Italy will vote in Semi-final 1, while Spain, the United Kingdom and Ukraine will vote in Semi-final 2.
Furthermore, a draw has also determined that Ukraine will perform as song number 19 and the United Kingdom as song number 26 in the Grand Final.
