Interested musicians were able to submit their songs for the Swiss participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. An international audience and expert jury determined the Eurovision participant in a multi-stage selection process. As in the ESC Final, the votes each counted 50 percent.

Zoë Më

Zoë Alina Kressler, 24, is a singer-songwriter born in Basel, Switzerland. She began writing her own songs at the age of 10, and she's known for her unique blend of German and French lyrics and creating engaging "poetry-pop."

In 2024 Zoë Më was honored as SRF 3 Best Talent, a recognition previously awarded to artists like Nemo and Marius Bear. She has performed at esteemed events such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Luzern Live, and has opened for artists like Remo Forrer and Joya Marleen on their tours.

To represent Switzerland in the city she was born is special for Zoë Më:

– I’m from Basel, and my grandparents live here. This is a full-circle moment, just like something out of a fairytale.

Switzerland won the 1988 contest with a then-unknown girl, Céline Dion, with the song "Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi" (only ONE point in front of number two, the United Kingdom). A star was born!

Their latest victory was in Eurovision 2024 where Nemo won with "The Code".
