Serbia: First eight acts advance to Pesma za Evroviziju 2025 Final

The first Semi-final of Serbia's national final Pesma za Evroviziju 2025 took place today. 15 acts took the stage with eight of them advancing to the Final on Friday, 28 February

Tonight 15 acts took the stage for the first Semi-final in Serbia's Pesma za Evroviziju 2025.

After all the acts performed a round of voting took place made up of a 50/50 split between the public and a jury. Once all the votes were in, the eight who received enough votes to advance to the Final were announced.

Pesma za Evroviziju 25 – Semi-final 1

Tonight's show took place at RTS Studio 8 in Košutnjak, Belgrade, and was hosted by Dragana Kosjerina, Kristina Radenković, and Stefan Popović (green room).

These eight acts secured a ticket to the Final which will be held on 28 February. The final eight of the lineup will be determined on 26 February, when the remaining 15 acts perform in the second Semi-final.

Pesma za Evroviziju 25

Pesma za Evroviziju 25 (PZE 25) is Serbia's national selection process for Eurovision 2025. PZE 25 will consist of three shows: two Semi-finals, and one Final:

  • Semi-final 1: 25 February 2025
  • Semi-final 2: 26 February 2025
  • Final: 28 February 2025

15 acts will compete in each of the two Semi-finals. The top eight from each will qualify for the Serbian Final to be held on 28 February 2025.

All three shows will be held at RTS Studio 8 in Košutnjak, Belgrade. The decisions are in the hands of 50% jury and 50% public voting.

Serbia in Eurovision

Serbia has been a part of Eurovision since 2007, except in 2014 when they chose not to participate.

Their best result came in their debut year, when Marija Šerifović won the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song Molitva.
