Greece: Sakis Rouvas and Helena Paparizou release duet

Greek Entrants from Eurovision Song Contest 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2009 release a new song

Today, former Eurovision Song Contest participants for Greece, Sakis Rouvas and Helena Paparizou released a duet titled "Etsi Einai I Fasi" ( Έτσι Είναι Η Φάση). The single has been released on Spotify and one can also watch their music video on Youtube.

Sakis Rouvas participated twice in the Eurovision Song Contest. His first attempt was in 2004 with the song "Shake It", placing 3rd and returned in 2009 with "This is our Night", placing 7th on the final night. Helena Paparizou first stepped on the Eurovision Song Contest stage in 2001 as a duet, Antique, with the song "(I Would) Die for You", placing 3rd and returned in 2005 with the song "My Number One" and won the contest, marking the first victory for Greece.

Greece started its Eurovision adventure back in 1974, and has been participating in the contest 40 times until now.

They won Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 with the song "My Number One" performed by Helena Paparizou. Since the victory they have been very successful in Eurovision.

Greece has qualified for the Grand Final 14 out of 16 times (only missed the Grand Final in 2016 and 2018). Well done Greece! Since 2004 they have finished in top-10 nine out of 15 times. They never finished last in the contest.
