Croatia: Here's the lineup for Dora 2024
The 24 artists competing at Dora 2024 have been revealed by the Croatian broadcaster
Croatian broadcaster HRT has just revealed the lineup for Dora 2024.
24 acts have been selected by Croatian national broadcaster HRT to compete in the next Dora in Croatia. One of these will represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö.
The broadcaster received 200 submitted songs and an expert jury chose 24 artists to compete in Dora 2024. Four more artists were chosen in case some of the 24 can't perform or withdraw.
Dora 2024 will be held in February.
Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest
Croatia has participated in Eurovision Song Contest 28 times since their debut in 1993. The first victory for Croatia in Eurovision is yet to come. The best result is two 4th place finishes; in 1996 (Maja Blagdan - "Sveta Ljubav") and 1999 (Doris Dragovic - "Marija Magdalena").
Since the introduction of the Semi-finals in 2004, Croatia has qualified for the Grand Final 8 out of 17 times. They withdrew from Eurovision 2014 and 2015 due to financial limitations and poor results in the contest.
