Croatia: Eight qualify for Dora 2025 Final

The first eight acts making it through to Croatia's national selection Final for Eurovision 2025 have been chosen. The public will select eight more tomorrow

It was just last year in Malmö when Croatia achieved its best result ever in Eurovision thanks to Baby Lasagna's "Rim Tim Tagi Dim."

After struggling for many years in the contest, the Eurovision spirit is alive again and so many will certainly have their eyes on Dora, Croatia's yearly song contest that functions as the country's national selection contest for Eurovision.

Tonight HRT hosted the first Semi-final of the national selection competition inside the Sports Hall Marino Cvetković in Opatija where 12 acts got the chance to perform. Out of those, the public decided on which eight should move on.

Croatia in Eurovision

Croatia has participated in Eurovision Song Contest 29 times since their debut in 1993. The first victory for Croatia in Eurovision is yet to come. The best result is from 2024 where Baby Lasagna finished 2nd with "Rim Tim Tagi Dim."

Since the introduction of the Semi-finals in 2004, Croatia has qualified for the Grand Final 9 out of 18 times. They withdrew from Eurovision 2014 and 2015 due to financial limitations and poor results in the contest.
