Belgium: Ellie "Blanche" Delvaux to Kyiv 2017

Ellie Delvaux has been internally selected by the Walloon broadcaster to represent Belgium at Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv. She will compete as "Blanche"

Ellie Delvaux (stage name: Blanche) will represent Belgium at Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv. RTBF has just announced Ellie through Facebook.

Blanche

The 16-year-old Ellie Delvaux (" Blanche") from Brussels was internally selected by the Walloon broadcaster to participate on behalf of Belgium next year at Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Ukrainian Kiev. She will participate as her stage name Blanche.

Blanche competed this year in the Walloon version of the talent show "The Voice". Her coach was the French poprock duo "Cats on Trees". The 16-year-old singer was eliminated second to last episode after she had enough votes from the audience and was eliminated by her coach.

It is the third consecutive time that the RTBF is looking for a candidate in "The Voice". Roberto Bellarosa ended 12th in 2013 with "Love Kills" and Loïc Nottet finished 4th in 2015 with "Rhythm Inside".

Blanche's song is ready

Blanche is working with Pierre Dumoulin, lead singer of the group "Roscoe", and together they have written the song that Blanche will perform in Kyiv.

It has not yet been announced when the song will be released.
