Australia: Go-Jo to Eurovision 2025 with "Milkshake Man"

Australian broadcaster SBS has just revealed their artist for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025: Australian singer, songwriter and producer Go-Jo. Go-Jo was internally selected by the broadcaster.

"Milkshake Man" was written by Go-Jo alongside members of Australian pop band Sheppard: George Sheppard, Amy Sheppard and Jason Bovino.

Marty Zambotto, with the stage name Go-Jo, is an Australian singer, songwriter and producer known for his distinctive blend of pop, indie, and folk music.

Go-Jo received his first guitar when he was 13-years-old, sparking his passion for music. He began his career producing and writing songs for others before launching his solo project. His music is characterized by memorable songwriting and modern pop production, drawing inspiration from producers like Max Martin and Shellback.

His viral hit “Mrs. Hollywood” has garnered over 15 million streams, and he has opened for major acts such as Tash Sultana, Jonas Brothers, and Milky Chance. In September and October 2024, Go-Jo embarked on his “Loud and Fun Tour” across Australia with his full band.

At Eurovision 2015, Australia was represented by Guy Sebastian and finished 5th in the Grand Final with the song Tonight Again. Australia was granted a wild card, with the right to vote in both Semi-finals, and with a secured place in the Grand Final.
