The duo Electric Fields has just been announced as this year's Australian representative for Eurovision 2024. Along with the duo, SBS has also released their Eurovision song "One Milkali (One Blood)"

Australia is ready for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

Australia has been participating in Eurovision since 2015 when the EBU formally invited Australian broadcaster SBS to participate due to their cultural ties with Europe, as well as to celebrate Eurovision's 60-year anniversary.

Since then, the country has always been a part of the lineup and will continue to do so, at least in 2024. The duo Electric Fields has just been announced as the Australian representative for the contest to be held in Sweden. Electric Fields was internally selected by SBS.

Their song, "One Milkali (One Blood)," was written by the duo themselves and has just been released:

Electric Fields

Electric Fields is an Australian duo made up of vocalist Zaachariaha Fielding and keyboard player and producer Michael Ross. They're known for their electronic music, generally mixed with multicutural sounds.

It was in 2011 that the vocalist first rose to fame when he auditioned for the third season of the X Factor Australia. Michael did the same in 2013. They didn't go far, but in 2015 they ended up forming Electric Fields. A year later, their first EP "Inma" saw the light of day and their career took off.

It was in 2019 that the duo first attempted to go to Eurovision when they participated in Australia Decides. Their song, "2000 and Whatever," was the runner-up. This time around, they were internally selected to participate in Eurovision.
